JOB ONE

Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Title: Lotus Notes
Pay Rate: $40 to $45 per hour

Status: Five Month Contract Assignment
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 9/22/09

Hours: Monday thru Friday – 8:30am to 5:00pm

Description:
• Scope of work would include migrate the remaining Notes Applications from the Wintel Notes 6.5 Environment (Approximately 1300+) to the new Notes 8.0 AIX Environment.

• This person would have a strong Notes Developer Background (5+ Years Experience) with Manager Access in Production. An aggressive run rate of multiple applications per week (50+) will need to be achieved to hit currently established targets (Migrations complete by EOM Sept 09)

• This person would perform the actual “Move” of the Notes Databases. During the implementation, database access will be frozen, then replicated over to the Notes R8 Servers, redirection code applied to R6 Prod Copy, Database access restore. When user goes to access their R6 icon, they will be redirected to the Domino 8 Server

• They would provide technical hands on trouble shooting after the move for any issues related to their applications moving from the R6 to R8 servers

• They would provide technical hands on trouble shooting for users moving to the R8 environment while their applications remain in R6 until those are moved.

• This person would also coordinate closely with the project managers and developers on building and maintaining the migration pipeline (schedule)

• This person when not busy migrating applications could help in tracking down owners of “unclaimed” applications to migrate those

• This person would be highly motivated, self managed and organized

• They would be responsible for technical input into building over of the conversion processes.

JOB TWO

Location: West Patterson, NJ
Title: Messaging
Pay Rate: $50 to $55 per hour

Status: Five Month Contract Assignment
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 9/16/09

Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm

Description:
• The candidate will be required to develop applications for a real time messaging environment and have a thorough understanding of transaction processing. The candidate will be required to provide supporting documentation and other artifacts for assigned tasks from analysis to the implementation phases of a project as is required for SDLC best practices.

Required: Bachelor’s degree with a major in computer sciences or mathematics.

• 5-7 Years experience in real time messaging and knowledge of communication protocols.

• Operating systems — UNIX, Open VMS is a plus, Windows XP

• Programming languages — C, knowledgeable in Java, SQL.

• Messaging protocols – Requires Websphere MQ Series knowledge, Websphere Message Broker knowledge is a plus.

• Some knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is a plus.

• Knowledge of TMX, MCS or other resource managers and transaction executive products is a plus.

• Tool sets associated with monitoring such as Omegamon and reporting and defect tracking such as ClearQuest is a plus.

Salary: $45,000 to $55,000 per hour

Title: Claims Rep

Description:

· Responsible for developing investigative data and ultimately structuring a basis for appropriate disposition of a claim.

· Review all files assigned at least on a quarterly basis on a daily system for pertinent issues, strengths and weaknesses.  Document same.

· Review and analyze new and pertinent information as it comes in on a daily basis.  Analyze incoming records for legibility and completeness.

· Update the database on a daily basis as changes occur and verify accuracy of same.

· Obtain all relevant records and investigative data.

· Document all occurrences in the file by memo or written dated diary notes.

· Verify and refer all incoming bills promptly and preferably within one week of receipt

· Review adequacy of reserves periodically.

· Promptly close files when the Statue of Limitations has expired, on cases not in suit, or when judgment or settlement occurs.

· Conduct interview of doctors on assigned cases or refer for outsource handling within a reasonable time (one-month) before EBT’s are planned, to obtain maximum essential information concerning the case and to clarify issues.  Research files before planning interview with physician to determine the essentials and issues of the case.  Dictate a full report of interview promptly.

· Obtain in-house expert review on files before EBT.  Evaluate the quality of the expert review in regard to the pertinence and thoroughness of the issues involved. Obtain report within 2 to 3 weeks per claim process.

· Communicate with defense attorneys to discuss strategy, problems, strengths and weakness of the case. Communicate with plaintiff’s attorney on claims in order to determine the outcome of claims before a suit is initiated.

· Prepare for claim meetings and case presentations by putting the case in chronological order and preparing a case summary.

· Inform the supervisor and manager of all high risk and potential problem cases and cases put on the Trial Calendar.

· Attend Claims Committee and other obligatory meetings planned by department.

· Present appropriate case.  Prepare a report following the conference and follow through on recommendations made my committee.

· Follow criteria established for reporting losses to reinsurers.   Maintain periodic (6 months) reporting as well as when reserves are changed and there is significant activity.

· Accept incoming calls and assist physicians who are calling about a claim, incident, or summons. Obtain all pertinent information from physicians regarding service of legal papers and medical data involved.

· Establish a claim file when appropriate for reported claims.  This process includes, but is not limited to: verifying insurance coverage before opening a new file; obtaining legal papers and/or medical records appropriate to the claim; as well as acknowledgment to insured; ensuring defense counsel assignment if appropriate and forwarding necessary documents.
