Controls Engineer


Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Controls Engineer with a strong background in Automation products or Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for our various projects. This role requires a deep understanding of automation and control principles, along with hands-on experience in programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
-Design, develop, and implement control systems using Rockwell Automation products or other PLC platforms.
Create and modify PLC programs, HMI applications, and SCADA systems.
-Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure successful project execution.
-Perform system integration, testing, and commissioning of control systems.
-Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems and automation equipment.
-Develop and maintain technical documentation, including electrical schematics, control logic diagrams, and user manuals.
-Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams as needed.
-Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in automation and control technologies.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Systems, or a related field.
-3+ years of experience in control systems engineering, preferably with Automation products or PLC programming.
-Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.), HMIs, and SCADA systems.
-Strong understanding of electrical and control system design principles.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Certification in PLC/Automation products or other relevant certifications.
-Experience with other automation platforms such as Siemens, Schneider Electric, or Mitsubishi.
-Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to industrial automation.
