Payroll Specialist


Responsibilities:

  1. Process multiple bi-weekly payroll and related items (1 - each week). 

  2. Backup to other payroll processor(s) to process payrolls as needed

  3. Entering data into payroll and administrative databases and software programs

  4. Collecting timesheet data and payroll information

  5. Calculating wages, benefits, tax deductions, commissions, etc.

  6. Preparing and processing paychecks and cash deposits

  7. Maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation & transactions

  8. Responding to payroll related inquiries and resolving concerns

  9. Run Weekly/monthly reports as necessary.


Qualifications

  1. High School Diploma / GED

  2. Degree in Accounting, business or a related field preferred

  3. 3-5 years’ experience working in payroll or a similar role

  4. Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and payroll practices

  5. Experienced with Dayforce payroll software

  1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  2. Strong organizational and time management skills

  3. Must have high numerical aptitude

  4. Must be detail oriented
