Marketing Coordinator (Part-Time)

Responsibilities:

Provide tactical support for retail marketing initiatives for various brands. Key duties include:

  • Collaborate with internal product, operations teams, and BPS marketing teams to integrate merchandise into marketing initiatives (e.g., print, email, grand openings, promotions, and activations).

  • Develop creative assets for in-shop signage and digital displays, partnering with freelance creative resources for monthly and seasonal updates.

  • Coordinate with Visual Merchandising (VM) teams to meet all production timelines.

  • Partner with house and license brand teams to secure assets most relevant to outdoor customers (e.g., fishing, hunting, hiking, camping).

  • Facilitate marketing approvals across internal teams, including marketing, visual, field, operations, and global brand teams.

  • Participate in weekly meetings to communicate project deliverable status and update calendars.

  • Manage the content calendar, ensuring alignment and communication with internal partners.

  • Submit invoices for freelance creative work and track payment status.

  • Provide weekly status reports to the Marketing Director.

Requirements:

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

  • 1–2 years of retail marketing experience (in-house or agency).

  • Strong calendar management and budget maintenance skills.

  • Experience in project and traffic management/coordination.

  • Invoice and budget tracking experience.

  • Comfortable in a high-volume output role.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience with creative development and managing creative deliverables.

  • Basic copywriting skills (helpful but not essential).

  • Familiarity with specialty retail brand environments.

Required Education & Experience:

  • 2–4 years of experience in a corporate retail marketing environment.

  • Flexible education requirements; relevant experience highly valued.
