Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day (40 hours per week)

Pay Range: $27 to $32 per hour

GENERAL FUNCTION: The E-Commerce Merchandising Specialist is responsible for assisting in the development of our global client's well-known brands' apparel, footwear, accessories, goggles and helmets category on Amazon. This role is responsible for creating and improving our client's digital product content on Amazon by providing consumers with the details and selling-points that will maximize online conversion for their brands, and contributing to a better understanding of Amazon AFA marketplace through insights and platform analysis. The position will provide digital product and content management support for Amazon. The role will be directly responsible for copy-writing, product set-up, product knowledge, and provide recommendations on marketplace. NOTE: This role will focus more on E-commerce Merchandising vs. Marketing.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Experience with item product set up – from writing copy to uploading images. Experience creating listings & building A+ content and brand stores on Amazon is strongly preferred.

• Experience with an extensive catalog as the catalog has multiple SKUs- 5K SKUs per season.

• Able to manage assortment catalog and optimize listing content and organization of listings.

• Able to collaborate with marketing and creative agencies to develop creative content for product pages.

• Able to communicate effectively and be proactive in coordinating with other stakeholders/teams, both internally and externally.

• Highly organized: Able to plan and prioritize work, manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, and manages time efficiently to ensure meeting key deadlines.

• Detail-oriented: Seeks highest-standards and accuracy in their work. Able to manage content assembly, improvement and development for a portfolio of approximately ten thousand SKUs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

DEVELOP & IMPLEMENT CONTENT MANAGEMENT PROCESSES:

• Maintain product knowledge of our client's brand portfolio through product training, market weeks, and other formats.

• Complete online item setup forms for Amazon.

• Lead new product listing creations on Amazon for leading apparel, footwear, accessories, goggles, and helmets brands.

• Manage current catalog to optimize listing content and organization of listings.

• Partner with marketing and creative agencies to develop creative content for product pages, brand stores and A+ content.

• Support the timely acquisition, delivery, and tracking of digital asset and copy requests in partnership with Account Managers/Directors.

• Work closely with the brand, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful implementation of product content syndication tool and adherence to content management processes.

SOURCE, ORGANIZE, AND CREATE DIGITAL CONTENT:

• Write online brand and product copy for retail partners including product titles and descriptions, features, categorization, and keywords for optimized performance (SEO).

OPTIMIZE BRAND AND SALES WITH E-RETAILER PARTNERS:

• Ensure access and completeness and optimization of product information for Amazon through product information feeds, content management, and product set-up.

• Have experience creating listings from scratch and the ability to maintain parent/child variations.

• Responsible for quality assurance around merchandising efforts and the online product catalog.

• Support in enhancing and optimizing digital shelf presence and brand performance by leveraging analytic tools and techniques to understand which content features are most highly correlated with sales lift and search rank.

• Address end-consumer inquiries and questions about product features and benefits.
