Job Title: Light Industrial - Equipment Operator | Crows Landing
Job Description: Hours: 4am to 12:30pm
Work Scope:
A. Crane operation feeding refuse into boilers and managing refuse pit inventory (orange peel grapples)
B. Shoveling of ash and trash build up from under and around conveyor systems and
hoppers.
C. General removal of debris throughout the plant.
D. Operating transport equipment (bobcat, forklift, man lift, heavy equipment operator and crane operator)
General Plant Requirements
A. All contractors must receive site safety orientation training before commencing work
B. Contractors must be able to stand for long periods of time
C. Contractors must be able to use job tools as provided
D. Contractors will supply the necessary PPE to perform the task and the PPE must be worn.
E. Contractors must be physically able to lift up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis.
F. All personnel must be trained in the hazards in working around conveyors, heavy equipment, and in a hot and dusty environment.
