Position: Light Industrial Laborer

Work Scope:

Shoveling ash and trash: Cleanup around conveyor systems and hoppers, using a wheelbarrow for transportation.
Debris removal: General cleaning throughout the plant.
Boiler and hopper maintenance: Requires confined space work with a full-face respirator.
Material handling: Staging of pipes, air hoses, and other plant materials.
Painting: General maintenance painting tasks.
Equipment operation: Operating transport equipment such as a Bobcat, forklift, and man lift.
Blow down areas: Using air or water to clean.

Plant Requirements:

Safety training: Must complete site-specific safety orientation before work begins.
Physical demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and use tools like shovels and grinders.
PPE: Personal protective equipment (PPE) required and must be provided by the contractor.
Confined spaces: Some tasks will require work in confined spaces with a full-face respirator.
Hazard training: Contractors must be trained on the hazards of working around conveyors and heavy equipment in a hot, dusty environment.
Morning meetings: The contractor lead must attend daily planning meetings.
Lockout/tagout: Contractors must have their own labeled lockout locks.

JOB TITLE: General Laborer

HOURS: 40 per week

JOB TYPE: Temporary

LOCATION: Tulsa, OK

SALARY: $16/hr

START DATE: 11/18/2024

Duration: 4 months with potential extension
