Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Attendance is critical.
Hiring process may take approximately 2 weeks, depending on site visit and background/drug checks.

Candidates must be interested and understand the outlined hiring process.
Work Scope
Shoveling ash and trash buildup from under and around conveyor systems and hoppers, with transportation using a wheelbarrow.
General debris removal throughout the plant.
Cleaning and maintenance inside boilers and hoppers (confined space with full-face respirator).
Material handling, including staging pipes, air hoses, and equipment.
Painting tasks.
Operating transport equipment such as forklifts and man lifts.
Blow down cleaning areas.
Acting as a hole watch attendant.
Acting as a fire watch attendant.
Power washing equipment.
General Requirements
Completion of site safety orientation training before starting work.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Proficient use of job tools such as air lances, refuse hooks, rakes, brooms, and shovels.
Proper use and inspection of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), which contractors must provide.
Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
Strong oral and written English communication skills.
Possession of a personal, labeled lock-out lock.
Training in hazard recognition and working in confined spaces within an industrial environment.
Attendance at morning planning meetings.
Ability to work on rooftops, confined spaces (with full-face respirators), and in hot/dusty environments.
Familiarity with blowing out debris from within conveyors.
Awareness and understanding of working around moving heavy equipment and rotating machinery.
Adherence to safety boundaries and equipment guarding; tools or body parts must not cross into unsafe zones.
Flexibility to clean various assigned areas daily to ensure the entire plant is maintained on a weekly basis.
Clear communication with supervisors when assistance is needed or systems require shutdown or restart.
