Engagement Manager

Job Description:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Accountable for the end-to-end delivery of application technology solutions aligned with strategic business objectives.

  • Ensure business needs are clearly understood and technology solutions meet expectations.

  • Provide consultation to leadership and customers regarding solution options and vendor product selection.

Product Management:

  • Manage day-to-day decisions related to assigned projects.

  • Collaborate with leadership to develop execution strategies for product roadmaps.

  • Seek opportunities to reduce application costs and improve production efficiency.

  • Align business strategy with software capabilities to define vision and direction for products.

  • Collaborate with project teams to design, develop, and support enterprise-wide solutions.

Project Management:

  • Lead all design and development aspects of the SDLC for projects.

  • Ensure adherence to standards, procedures, and methodologies in the delivery lifecycle.

  • Oversee project execution, resource allocation, and coordination to ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery.

  • Communicate project status, risks, and resolutions to management and stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with PMO to develop project documentation, including initiation documents, budgets, plans, and resource allocation.

  • Monitor progress, status, and deliverables while escalating issues and recommending mitigation strategies as needed.

Technical Delivery:

  • Collaborate with architects and product teams on technology and solution decisions.

  • Ensure technical design, unit testing, deployment, and implementation requirements are documented.

  • Coordinate with BSAs and quality engineering teams to ensure thorough testing.

  • Conduct code reviews with development teams to ensure alignment with architecture and design.

  • Lead continuous process improvement initiatives for delivery teams.

Team Oversight:

  • Oversee both internal and offshore teams, ensuring project resources are focused and aligned.

  • Monitor daily progress and deliverable status on projects.

  • Ensure proper staffing and coordination with offshore teams to optimize resource utilization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in end-to-end delivery of application technology solutions.

  • Expertise in SDLC methodologies, project execution, and product lifecycle management.

  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills with a track record of managing cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with solution architecture, product planning, and roadmaps.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to lead teams in onshore/offshore delivery models.

Preferred Certifications:

  • PMP, Agile, or relevant certifications are a plus.
