Overview:
We are seeking a Construction Project Manager for a construction project in Kansas City, MO, involving updates to an active building. The project focuses on Mechanical/HVAC, Electrical, Controls, Plumbing systems, and exterior tuckpointing on the brick exterior. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing these critical updates during the second shift, ensuring the project progresses smoothly and meets all deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all aspects of Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical, Controls, Plumbing, and exterior tuckpointing on an active building.
Take over leadership of the project, ensuring continuity and progress during the second shift.
Utilize MS Project and Procore to track construction activities, manage project schedules, and monitor milestones.
Ensure compliance with OSHA 30 safety standards on-site, especially considering the challenges of working in an active building during off-hours.
Coordinate with various teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful completion of project tasks without disrupting building operations.
Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on the progress of the project.
Preferred Qualifications:
OSHA 30 certification is required to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Strong experience using MS Project and Procore for tracking construction activities and project schedules.
Previous experience managing Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical, Controls, Plumbing systems, and exterior tuckpointing in active building projects.
Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a project effectively during the second shift.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
