Job Title: Web Development Specialist – Contract, Remote

Location: Remote (AL)

Max Bill/Salary: $55-$58/hr

Project Duration: Until 12/31/2024 (40 hours/week)

Job Description:

The team is seeking a Web Development Contractor to join a dynamic marketing organization. The contract runs until the end of 2024, and the position is fully remote. You will be supporting and creating engaging web user experiences, with a focus on usability, accessibility, and optimization.

Preferred skills:

  • Agile methodology experience

  • Workfront experience

Work you’ll do:

  • Support and develop modern, W3C-compliant front-end code, focusing on web standards, semantics, usability, and accessibility.

  • Code and implement custom web analytics tagging solutions.

  • Advise on processes, technology, and tools used for custom web development.

  • Serve as a point of contact for cross-functional technical projects, handling project execution, requirements gathering, and technical deployments.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of technical web development experience.

  • Familiarity with software repositories and technical collaboration tools.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Collaborative and proactive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks like React.js and Angular.

  • Experience with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.

  • Knowledge of CSS preprocessors such as SCSS or Sass.

  • Familiarity with BEM methodology.

  • Experience with data visualization libraries (preferably D3.js).

  • Experience with Agile methodology.

  • Experience with Workfront.
