Job Summary:
This contractor role supports the Talent Data Security audit process, implementation, and Storefront project. The successful candidate will develop and execute the team’s Security Audit Process, learn and document data security models for Talent systems, facilitate audits, and measure progress using scorecards. The role requires creating toolkits and support materials for stakeholders, ensuring clarity on audit requirements, and maintaining resources regularly.
Key Responsibilities:
Learn and document data security models for Talent systems, facilitating audits and aligning with staggered security implementations.
Develop and execute a comprehensive audit process for Talent data systems, identifying risks, and providing recommendations for process improvement.
Measure audit goals, produce scorecards, and communicate results to leadership at multiple levels.
Create, update, and maintain detailed toolkits and support materials to assist stakeholders in preparing for and completing audits.
Establish routines to ensure toolkits and documentation remain current and actionable.
Coordinate with various stakeholders to align project goals with broader business objectives and ensure effective communication.
Apply data security management standards and align audit processes accordingly.
Act as a versatile contributor across various team areas as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years of related experience, or 2 years applied experience in process improvement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Word, Teams).
Strong expertise in process improvement and implementation within large organizations.
Proven ability to analyze and understand security models and their downstream impacts.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal oversight.
Analytical mindset with the ability to balance detail orientation and strategic thinking.
Preferred:
Knowledge of data security practices and their application in the professional services industry.
Familiarity with the professional services industry’s data governance frameworks and methodologies.
About the Team:
The Data Governance & Security Team drives data strategy, quality, and ownership across Talent, working with stakeholders to mitigate data risks and establish best practices. The team emphasizes ethical data handling, security compliance, and proactive management of data privacy while coordinating changes across Talent systems.
This role reports to the Security Audit Manager and supports the team by managing approval processes, stakeholder communication, and audit implementation strategies.
