Real Estate Paralegal


We are a dynamic leader in the real estate development industry, specializing in acquiring, developing, and managing multi-family residential properties. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our in-house legal team. The primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate multi-family residential loan transactions, ensuring smooth and efficient processing from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate transactions, particularly in handling loan documentation and closings.

Key Responsibilities:
· Manage the preparation, review, and organization of loan documents for multi-family residential projects.
· Review loan terms and conditions to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
· Facilitate clear communication between internal teams, lender’s legal counsel, lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate timely and accurate completion of transactions.
· Monitor transaction timelines and milestones to meet deadlines and ensure smooth progress.
· Prepare closing binders and coordinate the closing process, including document recording and fund disbursement.
· Conduct due diligence and research on properties, including title searches, zoning issues, and environmental assessments.
· Maintain accurate records and documentation related to loan transactions and update internal databases as necessary.
· Provide administrative support to the legal department and other teams as needed.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal certification preferred.
· 7+ years of experience in real estate transactions, with specific experience in multi-family residential loan closings.
· Strong understanding of loan documentation, title insurance, and closing processes.
· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of professional interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with legal research tools and databases.
